Electrical Engineering Technical Team Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Design, test, and manufacture Safeguard electronic embedded systems.
• Lead in planning and executing work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality. 
• Mentor and develop professional staff. May supervise as necessary. 
• Practice active continuing education. 
• Remain current on relevant technologies and trends to sustain a strong technical direction for the company. 
• Follow and apply Safeguard’s mission; save lives, give back, and continually innovate. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering 
• US Citizenship 
• 4+ years of relevant experience 
• Proficient in the following technical areas: PCBA design, PCBA design for manufacturability, embedded software design. 
• Proficient writing, speaking, problem solving, and documentation skills. 
• Team player who is able to work cooperatively with other teammates. 
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities 
• Detail oriented and able to accept critical feedback. 
• Satisfactory background check results.
• Negative drug test result.
