Lead Full Stack Developer 

We are seeking a lead full stack software developer to assist in the development of Safeguard software safety services including Android/iOS mobile apps and eventually web app services. Candidates must have a computer science education background. Candidates must have an expressed interest and extensive background in designing front-end and back-end mobile apps. This position will provide priceless career experience as you will be the main ‘boots on the ground’ and we will rely on you as the main subject-matter-expert for the development of our software and services. Being a smaller company there is no ‘busy work’ here at Safeguard. Everyone carries a vital role in the success of the company and therefore receives priceless work experience and job satisfaction. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Lead in planning and executing work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality. 

• Mentor and develop professional staff. May supervise as necessary. 

• Design, manage, maintain Safeguard Safety Service iOS/Android mobile applications. 

• Design, manage, maintain Safeguard Safety Service web applications. 

• When needed, work as a project manager to leverage contractor and freelancer resources to accelerate project timelines. 

• Continuously enhance existing software products. 

• Practice active continuing education. 

• Follow and apply Safeguard’s mission; save lives, give back, and continually innovate. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related, or equivalent experience 
• Demonstrate an expressed interest in mobile app and full-stack development. 
• 6+ years of relevant experience 
• Proficient writing, speaking, problem solving, and documentation skills.  
• Team player who is able to work cooperatively with other teammates.  
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities 
• Detail oriented and able to accept critical feedback.  
• Satisfactory background check results. 
• Negative drug test result.
