No. The consolidated 22-setting sensitivity scale and the two adaptive modes introduced in firmware 1.8.0.0 apply to connected Compass Pro and Compass Pro IS units. Compass G2 is not affected and its alerting behavior does not change.
Compass Core is the medium-voltage model in the connected lineup: it covers 2.4 kV to 34.5 kV AC, pairs with Navigator Mobile, and offers two voltage sensitivity settings. Compass G2 stays focused on essential worker-level detection with less to configure.
