Understand Device Lights, Heartbeat, and Status

Use LEDs and heartbeat behavior to categorize healthy, attention-needed, and fault states before you open Navigator.

ledstatusheartbeat

Overview

Local indications communicate power state, faults, pairing/connectivity posture (high level), and emergency-related states depending on model. Always cross-check with your model’s authoritative LED table for the hardware revision you carry.

Heartbeat

Heartbeat-style signaling typically means the device is executing its monitoring loop. Absence may mean powered down, protective behavior, fault, or an environmental/state condition - combine with charging and Navigator connectivity context.

How to use this in the field

  • Treat lights as one signal; combine with Navigator Mobile and (for entitled roles) Console indicators.
  • Patterns can differ by hardware revision - do not memorize a different unit’s behavior.
