Recommended sequence
- Inspect for physical damage. If compromised, remove from service per internal safety policy.
- Charge using approved method for your model; deeply depleted batteries may need time before boot indications look normal.

- Observe baseline LED/heartbeat behavior before proceeding to pairing.
