Understand Voltage and Current Alerts

Conceptual overview of voltage and current alerting - paired with qualified electrical procedures, not replacing them.

Overview

Voltage and current alerting helps workers recognize hazardous electrical conditions earlier when the device is used as designed for the model and environment. Alerts are an operational aid - not a substitute for your lockout/tagout program, qualified electricians, or site rules.

Voltage-related indications

Voltage indications reflect model-defined detection behavior. Use in-app labeling and your official model documentation for thresholds and states.

Current-related indications

Current indications likewise follow model implementation. Train interpretation under qualified leadership; do not improvise live tests on energized equipment without authorization.
