Compass Pro Legacy Sensitivity Conversion Chart

Find the new sensitivity setting that matches your old Low, Medium, or High range setting after the move to the consolidated 22-step scale.

sensitivityconversionlegacyfirmware

Overview

The new consolidated range of 22 sensitivities has been optimized to provide incremental detection distances between each setting. On the chart below, each legacy setting sits directly beneath its new equivalent. Settings outlined together in one block all map to the same new value, and a gap means no legacy setting fell directly within that new range value.

Find your new sensitivity setting

Select your old range and old setting in either order. The tool shows the matching new setting, whether other legacy settings now share it, and the typical detection distance at that setting.

Which High range do I have?

* High (Gen 1), first generation: Compass Pro 60 Hz (M03006) built before week 28 of 2025, and Compass Pro 50 Hz (M03008) built before week 26 of 2025. Shown in the app as V4 and prior.

** High (Gen 2), second generation: Compass Pro built on or after those weeks, and all Compass Pro IS units. Shown in the app as V5+. Legacy settings 4–1 were removed because they were too insensitive to be usable.
