Provision, adjust roles, assign groups, and offboard users with least privilege and emergency routing in mind.

Overview

User lifecycle hygiene affects both security and emergency outcomes. Delayed deprovisioning leaves ghost responders; over-permissioned admins multiply accident blast radius.

Operational pattern

  1. Create/invite with correct role: Mobile User, Dispatch, or Admin.
  2. Assign group memberships that match real crews and dispatch boundaries.
  3. Validate emergency contact paths for users expected to respond.
  4. Disable/remove promptly on separation; recover hardware where possible before reassigning.
  5. Audit quarterly: dormant admins, stale dispatch accounts, incorrect group placement.
