Overview

Compass Pro and Compass Pro IS may expose additional administrative configuration compared to Core. Controls vary by subscription; do not apply Pro guidance to Core inventory.

Safe change process

  1. Confirm target devices are Pro/Pro IS and note firmware baselines.
  2. Snapshot existing values before edits (screenshots/exports where permitted).
  3. Apply changes in planned windows; notify affected crews.
  4. Validate outcomes with supervised field checks - avoid improvising energized verification.
