Overview

Roles provide baseline permission templates. Subscription presence and account type combine to decide which surfaces a user sees. The two tables below are reproduced from the Navigator Mobile and Navigator Console User Guides.

Role expectations in plain language

  • Mobile User (Base): Navigator Mobile workflows — pairing, monitoring tabs, Tools, firmware (when permitted), and mobile emergency participation when enabled.
  • Dispatch: Navigator Console operational surfaces such as Emergency Map and dashboards. Dispatch users have "Always Included In Emergencies" checked by default — every emergency in the organization reaches them.
  • Admin: user, group, and organization configuration; Compass Pro Configurations; everything Dispatch can do.
