Overview
Automatically created emergency events start a 30-second countdown before notifying the response team. The countdown gives the user time to confirm a real event or cancel an accidental trigger.

Manual SOS
A manual SOS event is triggered by pressing and holding the SOS button on the Compass — or the in-app SOS button — for 3 seconds. The Compass SOS Button Countdown Sound can be disabled in Emergency Service Settings for discreet activation.
