Overview

Rollouts go faster when teams confirm accounts, device models, mobile OS/Bluetooth readiness, and org policies (roles, groups, emergency settings) before the first field shift.

Before you begin

Confirm your administrator has provisioned you and that you know whether you are a Mobile User, Dispatch, or Admin.

Readiness checklist

  1. Account access: Mobile Users install Navigator Mobile; Dispatch/Admins need Navigator Console access in a supported browser.
  2. Hardware: identify Compass Core vs Compass Pro vs Compass Pro IS; record hardware version for firmware and support.
  3. Mobile device: Bluetooth on; OS meets your org baseline; MDM policies allow required permissions.
  4. Org configuration: emergency modules require responder teams, service settings, and correct group/seat assignment.
  5. Safety: review mounting and environmental constraints for your model before relying on monitoring in live work.
